Guipure lace is the most sculptural member of the lace family: heavy, structured motifs held together by connecting bars and threads, with no net or mesh background at all. That open, three-dimensional construction gives guipure its signature richness and body, making it a favourite for bridal gowns, tailored jackets, statement appliqué and any piece that needs to hold its own shape rather than drape softly.

At AnBella Designs, our guipure lace is sourced as deadstock — genuine mill-end and overstock rolls rescued from European ateliers rather than newly commissioned, so every metre carries considered, low-waste sourcing alongside its craftsmanship. We stock guipure across cotton, polyester and wool bases, each with a distinct hand and finish, sold by the metre so designers, bridal and couture makers, and home sewists can buy exactly what a project calls for.
