Guipure Polyester Appliques

Cut from our polyester-base guipure lace, these appliques bring the same heavy, three-dimensional embroidery as our cotton guipure motifs, but with the added durability and crisp definition polyester provides. That makes them a good fit for eveningwear, costume and occasion pieces that need to hold their shape and colour through wear and cleaning, as well as for appliqué work on structured garments.

As with all of AnBella Designs’ guipure range, these appliques are sourced as European deadstock — existing mill-end motifs rather than newly commissioned designs — so the selection is finite and shifts as stock sells through. Designers, eveningwear makers and home sewists use them to add a focal embroidered motif without committing to metres of matching lace fabric.
